Mt Meru is a family owned business and it has been in the Danks Family since 1997 when it was purchased from its original owners Martin & Marianne Rowland.
The business has grown to include a large range of Giftware, Jewellery, Himalayan Salt Products and Incense and other lines to expand on its original crystal business.
In October 2004 the company moved into a new 6500 sq ft warehouse located at 24 Forge Rd, Silverdale. The new building has a showroom and warehousing facilites and customers are welcome to come and view the extensive product range on display. Our products include, Crystals, Glass Ornaments, Fantasy and other Polyresin Figurines, Incense, Feng Shui, Jewellery and a wide range of speciality Giftware.
The company sells to top retailers from Kaitaia to Bluff - among them Giftware Shops, Bookshops, Chemists, Hardware stores and many more including selected PaperPlus and TakeNote Stores. We have sales representatives covering the entire country - (see our team member information below).
Mt Meru is a member of the New Zealand Gift Trade Association and exhibits at all 3 major Gift Fairs in New Zealand. Two at Epsom Showgrounds in Auckland, (March and October) and the South Island Fair in June at the Westpac Centre.
Over the last 2 years Mt Meru has become a rapidly expanding company adding many top new product lines along with many new authorised retail stockists. Each year we travel overseas to the top International Giftware Shows to keep our product offering constantly updated giving our retailers the variety they need to maintain a competitive edge in the New Zealand Marketplace.
This new website (March 2010) is another step towards making Mt Meru an important part of the Giftware scene in New Zealand and reflects our goals of becoming easier and more effective to deal with.
